FAZA was formally recognized as the Best Team in Communication Training, an accolade awarded for exemplary performance in delivering effective, inclusive, and culturally responsive communication throughout the program. The group received a commemorative trophy and a certificate of participation, symbolizing a significant achievement in its organizational journey.

Deriswanaag is a multi-country initiative designed to enhance governance, economic opportunity, and social cohesion in borderland communities. Deriswanaag is a regional peacebuilding and development initiative focused on the borderlands of Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia. The name “Deriswanaag” comes from Somali and translates to “Good Neighborliness”, reflecting the program’s core mission of fostering cooperation and stability across national boundaries.
Key Objectives of Deriswanaag:
Enhancing peace and stability in historically volatile border regions.
Strengthening social and economic dynamics through inclusive development.
Preventing and countering violent extremism by supporting local resilience.
