Faza Youth Action Group (FYAG) is a community-based organization committed to promoting social justice, human rights, inclusive development, and sustainable livelihoods among marginalized and vulnerable communities. Founded by dedicated community members and youth leaders, FYAG works to empower individuals and communities to actively participate in development processes, advocate for their rights, and improve their socio-economic well-being.
Based in Faza, Lamu County, FYAG has grown into a respected grassroots organization implementing programs that address key development challenges affecting youth, women, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and other marginalized groups. Through advocacy, civic engagement, capacity building, environmental conservation, and economic empowerment initiatives, the organization seeks to create lasting positive change within communities.
FYAG believes that sustainable development can only be achieved when communities are informed, organized, empowered, and actively involved in decisions that affect their lives. The organization therefore promotes participatory approaches that strengthen community ownership, accountability, and resilience.
